Watercolor Poppies Tutorial

Hello friends. Hapon, naiinip, walang magawa. So naisip ko mag paint. Naisip ko magpaint ng poppies using watercolor.

I bought this old book in Pandayan Bookstore, for only P75.

Okay naman siya, makapal ang pages pwede sa watercolor.

So this will be my watercolor art journal page.
I use Twistable Silky Crayons, i so love this crayons!

They are non-toxic, no odors. They are water soluble. Pwede gamitin sa papel o canvas. Pwede gamitin as crayons, watercolor o oil pastel. O di ba maganda. May dalawa set ako nito at bibili pa kase maganda at madali gamitin. Nabili ko sa SM City Tarlac sa Stationery Department, P250.

Below, are the pictures kung paano ko ginawa ang Watercolor Poppies.

1. Draw poppies using red crayon.

2. Color the bottom of the poppies gamit ang black.

3. Isunod ang yellow sa taas ng poppies.

4. Brush poppies with water. Pwede marami water or konti. I choose marami or we call it loose.

5. Coloring background.
Apply black, brown and yellow.

6. Then brush with water.

O ayan tapos na. Madali lang di ba! Try mo gawin ito, pampatanggal ng inip. At pampalipas ng oras. Ganito din gingawa ni Taylor Swift kapag hindi sya busy :) Click link HERE.

You Make Me So Hoppy

Hello! And because I have new stamps and of course because I won a challenge from YNS, so I made this tag to join Your Next Stamp Sketch and Color Challenge #24. Inspired by the Sketch below.

I use my new stamps that I received from Karen of YNS. Thank you so much!!! :)

For my tag, I used Love and Smiles. They are so cute!

Cut and assemble pattern papers. Stamp image in a white cardstock. Cover the image. Spray Pink, Green and Violet color pen inks. Let dry. Remove the cover and color the image.

Sorry guys.. I don't have photo tutorial this time. I actually have a video and it is 2.44GB, video time run is 38 minutes. Blogger only accepts 100MB. I reduced the file into 199MB but unfortunately still video does not qualify. I dont know how to trim the video and I don't what video editor will I use. Help please.

Hope you like my tag. Thanks for looking.

Lazy Daisies

Hello! Drop by to blog about this mini painting of  lazy daisies.  I'm a beginner and I love painting. Most of my paintings are photos taken from Pinterest.

My project is inspired by the photo below.

Below are photos on how I made this mini painting.

These are acacia wood block 4"x4"x1". I bought it in a wood shop, I forgot the name of the shop but it is located in Barangay Talaga, Tarlac City. They are P25.00 each.

1. Clean wood.
2. Adhere scotch tape for the fence.

3. Brush with white gesso. Let it dry.

4. Paint the background using Hooker's Green acrylic paint then with Cadmium Green.

5.  Paint lazy daisies in titanium white.

6. Don't forget the sides of the wood.

7. Remove tape. (Sorry about the blurry photo)
The fence is actually a lot better than the painted.

My daisies looks like sunny side up eggs hahaha!
8. Paint the fence with brown.

Rain Gently Falls

Hello! I love making tags with my favorite Your Next Stamp Sketch and Color Challenge # 21!
I'm in the mood because I love the sketch!
And by the way, it is rainy season here in the Philippines!
And I love rain!

Below is on how I made my tag:

Cut and paste papers into the tag. Stamp Rainy Day Fiona into a white circle cut cardstock (I don't know if the stamp is still available in YNS Shop. I got this when I was random pick in a YNS challenge way back 2011) :)
Stamp and cut another Fiona in another paper.

Place the cut Fiona above the circle. Spray blue ink as background.

This is how it look like after. I love Fiona without color, look how simple and cute!!

Adhere beads.

Assemble and adhere papers. Add sentiment.
