While Gardening

Feeling the cold air this morning, feeling the coming of Christmas...

It is my routine every morning of going to market to buy food and grocery items to sell for my store... and then cook for lunch.

There is no sun in the afternoon because of the coming storm "Santi", and his target area is Central Luzon and that is where we are located...

While the sun is out nowhere, I had the time for gardening, cutting the branches of our mango tree, trimming my bonsai plants and grass. Whew!

I pictured a bird that was trap to our Mr. E sample shrub that I made last summer.

Maya Bird

It took us an hour to help her out of the shrub.

And now time for my card.

Circles, plain light green, yellow background papers are from All About Scrapbooking. Stripes from Creative Park. Image used from My Drawing Book: Kat {See Blog Archive} colored it using Faber-Castell coloring pencil. Ribbon and flower from Countless Joy. Thanks to Canon.

This card is for Allsorts Challenge Blog #24 - Furry Friends and Papertake Weekly Challenge: Spots and Stripes.

In the mood to create cards

I am not feeling so well today because of my cough and headache, but I still have the mood to create cards for some challenges... I made 2 cards and 4 tags today!!!

For Stamp Something: Bling It Somethings - Challenge

I found this dark pink heart embellishment that I bought in a bookstore in Bicol during me and my sister a week vacation to my Tatay (Dad) sometime in May 2008. The L-O-V-E letters we (me and my daughter) used to do as necklace pendant is now on card... glued red glitters for border. Click picture to see a closer look to my heart.... ooowwhhh... lol. Hope you will like this simple glittery and shiny card.

For 2 Sketches 4 You: Laura's Sketch 37

and Kim's Bonus Sketch

I used Halloween background papers and tags that my cousin mailed this to me a week ago. Thanks May!

God Bless you and me.

I used wrapping paper (Red and Brown checks), Keepsakes Scrapbook paper for the greens, star punches and a downloaded Tag 00070 written Merry Christmas from Canon Creative Park and colored it some brown on the edges. Bill and Cynthia's Invitation

My friend Cynthia asked me to do her an invitation for her house warming and at the same time for her daughter jasmine 13th birtday. And this is what I did for her.

I'm so thankful that she liked it. Yesterday, we finished at least 60 of this invitation. Ha ha ha that's plenty... her husband Bill said "where will I put these visitors when they come all at the same time?" whahaha!!!..... No worries! Their house flour area is 400 sq. mtr. and their total residential lot area is 1,000 sq. mtr. It was a dream house for Cynthia!

Thank you so much

I would like to thank Kim for accepting me as one of her friend. She is my first friend in this blog.

Today, me and my sister Myla went to SM Clark mall to buy her son Miguel for his first birthday party dress on October 17, 2009. And for my gift to Miguel, I bought him a Baby Jordan polo shirt in which on sale today... other than that I made him lots of giveaways---CHOCOLATES! for his kids visitors.. I will make atleast 80 bundles of chocolates :) ... for this I made tags using the Hero Arts Ink and Stamp Critters (My first owned stamp sets) which my friend Cynthia bought it for me when she went to Hongkong... (Hero Arts Stamps are also available here in the Philippines at Memory Lane Store). I asked her to buy me some Penny Black stamps, since they are so expensive, instead she bought me Hero Arts.. but that's ok! I had fun stamping, coloring and cutting tags.. with
my daughter Joy and housekeeper Welcy. And here are the finished products.

I will still be doing 40+ more giveaways for tomorrow.
